Painted butternut center table. mid 19th c., probably Canadian, retaining its original sponge decoration, the underside signed Wm. ___field, 26 1/2" h., 28 1/2" w. Provenance: The Estate of Pauline Kasserman, Winesburg, Ohio.
Scattered touch-ups to top, mostly along center seam and along repaired break. Larger 3" x 4" area of touch-up of center. Touch-ups to dark green border, mostly to edge. Couple cracks to standard and scattered touched up flakes.
