Ohio red, white, and navy blue jacquard coverlet by John Long, the corner blocks inscribed "John. Long Holmes County Ohio 1850", the border inscribed "SP", and decorated with eagle, floral and potted tulip decoration, the interior with strawberry medallions, 80" x 71". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 148 and 149.
Overall good condition. Top and bottom edge rebound. Losses and repairs to top edge. A few small losses to red and blue in body.
