Ohio painted poplar blanket chest, attributed to Valentine Yoder, ca. 1840, the front decorated with large urn overflowing with floral vines on a red ground, 20 3/4" h., 41" w. A similarly decorated chest was sold at Garth's, October 22, 2004, Lot 74.
