Oglalla Sioux Indian hide tobacco pipe bag, late 19th c., having excellent beadwork designs on both sides composed of chalk white, green, red, navy, and light blue, porcupine quill, and hide fringes, 41" l. 8" w. This very fine example of Sioux craftsmanship from the Pine Ridge Reservation was gifted to the owner's grandfather while living on the Reservation at an early age.
