Fine Northwest Coast carved and polychromed cedar ceremonial raven rattle, 19th c., the mask with mother of pearl inlay and emerging frog, with stylized carving, the crest is a recumbent shaman figure with a birds tongue projecting into his mouth, 14 1/4" l. Age crack to body with a tied string staple on opposing sides, great dry surface.
