New York William & Mary gumwood kas, mid 18th c., with raised panel doors flanked by applied molded pilasters, resting on a base with a single drawer and original bun feet, retaining an old dry surface, 69" h., 58" w.

Condition

Lacking cornice. Old break to side molding. Loss to side base molding. Escutcheon and lock replaced. A few moldings loose. Provenance: The Collection of Captain Hall Jackson Tibbits (1797-1872), Long Island, NY.
