New York navy blue and white jacquard coverlet by Asahel Amora Phelps, the eagle corner blocks inscribed "Delhi 1840", the border with birds, willows, pagodas, potted flowers, and floral medallions in the center, 94" x 78". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 76 and 77.
Overall very good. A few very small losses to blue.
