New York navy blue and white jacquard coverlet by Bartlett French, the corner blocks inscribed "Esther Cutler. 1835. B. French Weaver Water-Ville.", the border with lions and trees, the interior with floral medallions, stars, and diamonds, 91" x 77". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs.34 and 35.
Overall good. Small holes in blue that may be old moth damage. Hole in one lion approx. 3/4" x 3/4".
