New York Federal mahogany tall case clock, ca. 1790, the pagoda top with eagle inlay, enclosing an eight day works, signed Effingham Embree New York, over a line inlaid case, 101" h. An example of his work resides in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House.
Parts: pendulum, weights. Blocks added to saddleboard supports. Feet ended out 1-1 1/2". Pook & Pook does not guarantee clocks to be complete or in working condition. Provenance: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania collector.
