New York continuous arm braceback windsor chair, ca. 1790, bearing the stamp of Matthias Bloom, retaining an old black surface.
Height - 36". Seat height - 16 1/2". Width between arm posts at seat - 13 1/2". One break repair at arm bend on chairs left. Break repaired with two iron braces (old repair). Overall good condition.
