New Jersey engraved and pinprick decorated powder horn, dated 1805, inscribed John Wessell Coopers Ferry, with overall decoration of exotic animals including Lama, Orangoutang, and Kanguroo, 13 1/2'' l. John Wessell was the owner of the Ferry at Federal Street in what is now the city of Camden. Provenance: Acquired by the present owner in the 1960's.
Overall good with expected wear to plug end.
