New England stained maple and poplar pipe box, late 18th c., with a lollipop crest and a single drawer, retaining an old red wash surface, inscribed on back of drawer From Graves House Oldest House in Madison. Never out of family or house. This box and house was inherited by Charlotte Lowelage., 20'' x 5 1/2''. Provenance: David Good.
Losses to base molding. Otherwise very good.
