New England stained birch mule chest, mid 18th c., the lift lid over two faux and four working drawers supported by bracket feet, retaining an old dry red surface, 59" h., 42 1/4" w.
Case is poplar with chestnut drawer bottoms. Original brasses. Leather hinges are torn. Losses to drawer lips. Proper right front foot pieced 4" (old repair).
