New England Queen Anne cherry high chest, ca. 1760, probably Rhode Island, 65" h., 35 1/2" w.
Drawer lip repairs. Lacking two drawer locks. One drawer missing 1 1/2" area of drawer molding. Repair break to one foot. Repaired blowout to drawer divider. Refinished. Dark stain added. Now has a dark mellow patina. Brasses replaced. Original holes. Two new support boards to top of lower section.
