New England painted pine blanket chest, ca. 1820, retaining its original yellow grained surface with a single drawer over a scalloped apron resting on tall turned feet, the interior with a vibrant blue sponge decoration, 30 1/2" h., 42" w.
Rear legs replaced, 5" patch to side apron, original brasses.
