New England oval pan bone ditty box, early/mid 19th c., with four-finger joint construction and mahogany inlaid abalone star, 4 3/4" h., 9 3/4" l. Provenance: Kelly Kinzle.
3" age crack to lid. 3" crack to banded edge of lid. 1" x 1/4" loss to banded edge of lid. 1 1/2" x 1/8" loss to rear right side at base.
