New England mahogany lolling chair, ca. 1785, with a serpentine crest, downward sloping arm supports and straight tapering legs joined by stretchers.
Dimensions: 15 1/2" (seat to floor), 19" (seat depth), 22 3/4" (chair depth), 42 3/4" (height), 26 1/2" (width). Arm and leg joints repegged. Otherwise in good condition.
