New England Chippendale mahogany Pembroke table, ca. 1790, probably Rhode Island, the scalloped top with ovolo corners, above a frame supported by square tapering molded legs joined by serpentine cross stretchers, 28" h., 19 1/2" w., 30 1/2" d.
Patch to one corner of leaf. Stretchers replaced. Provenance: The Collection of George Dittmar, Low Meadow Farm, Cream Ridge, New Jersey.
