Native American Indian oversized cabinet/boudoir card photograph of Al-Che-Say and his band of warriors, Al-Che-Say being the second man from the left, in the center, the boy seated under him is likely his son, wearing a feathered cap, holding a Winchester lever action rifle, Sergeant William Al-Che-Say was the most important of General George Crook's Apache Scouts, earning the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Indian Wars, photo taken by Andrew Miller of Silver City, New Mexico, comes with two small cuttings from the Roswell Daily Press, Jan. 25th, 1939, of an article about a lecture on the Apache tribe by Captain Horgan, 5 1/4" x 8 1/2".

Good condition overall, a few small marks and stains on both the photo and the card, a faint impression where a paperclip had been, bottom center.
