Nathan Starr 1812 cavalry saber, 38 1/2" l., blade - 33 3/4" l. together with a short saber, 37 1/2" l., blade - 32 1/2".
#1 - Nathan Starr 1812 calvalry sabre, blade stamped N. Starr & "P" proofed, blade is pitted, wooden grip cracked and sword spacer missing. #2 - Unidentified sabre, single edge blade, heavily pitted, wrap and wooden grip deteriorating, guard rusty but tight and intact, leather scabbard torn and cracked and missing top ferule and hanging attachements, drag is well rusted.
