Monumental size Etruscan bucchero kyathos, 6th-5th c. B.C., 16" h. Provenance: The Collection of Bron Lipkin, London, acquired in 1998, C.J. Martin, London and later purchased from Collector Antiquities, London. Lot includes relevant paperwork.
Repaired from fragments. Lead weight added to foot to provide stability. Provenance: A Pennsylvania estate.All of the ancient art and antiquities in this sale are from the same estate. An ancient art specialist was brought in from New York to assist with authenticating and describing the pieces in the collection.
