Monumental English silver two handled covered urn, 1796-1797, bearing the touch of Peter & Ann Bateman with pineapple finial and engraved floral bands, the body with central armorial, 21" h., 82.2 ozt.
Underside of lid bears numerous inscribed names. Good condition. No apparent damages or repairs.
