Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut tall case clock, late 18th c., the broken arch bonnet with floral rosettes and ball and flame finials enclosing an eight day works with painted face, signed "Adam Brant", over a waist with fluted quarter columns and scalloped panel base supported by ogee bracket feet, 94" h. The remarkable condition of this clock including an untouched surface and original finials make this a superb example of Pennsylvania clockmaking.

Condition

Moonphase repainted. 1" loss to rear foot facing. Two repaired breaks to side facings. We do not guarantee clocks to be in working condition.
