Miniature English watercolor portrait on ivory of clockmaker Daye Barker (1747-1835), housed in an engraved brass frame, inscribed with sitter's name verso, 3 1/4" x 2 1/2".
Very good condition. Not examined out of frame. Engraved on verso "Daye Barker born Jany 1747 died 31 August 1835 Married 7 June 1788".
