Miniature 14K gold and enameled fire wagon and ladder truck, ca.1860, attributed to silversmith Albert Coles, New York City, the wagon with banner, inscribed Continental Bucket Co. One, the ladder truck inscribed Phenix 3, both with elaborate engraved decoration and fitted with a variety of accoutrements, to include buckets, a helmet, a trumpet, etc., together with a flagpole with the American flag and directionals, 5 3/4" l. and 7 1/2" l. Provenance: Purchased from Captain Harris Coles Aller, great-grandson of the maker.

Condition

Bucket wagon - one wheel hub detached but present. Overall excellent condition.
