Mid-Atlantic Chippendale mahogany sofa, ca. 1785, probably Maryland, with a carved back, graceful arms and square tapering legs terminating in spade feet, 36" h., 90" w.
Loss to one rear foot. Repaired blowout to one front foot at stretcher. New blocking and supports added to seat frame. Loss to tip of one side of below armrest.
