Micromosaic brooch of Vatican City set in onyx and yellow gold, 15.4 dwt, together with a micromosaic and yellow gold set of a brooch and earrings with a bird motif, 17.1 dwt. Provenance: Estate of Katherine K. Gaeth, Ephrata, Pennsylvania. All unmarked. Low Karat - 9 or 10K. Vatican city brooch - 2" w., 1 3/4" h., repaired clasp, all tiles present (a few larger gaps between tiles in the sky concentrated at edge, could be breaks). Set - 1 3/4" h. x 1 1/4" w. (pendant), 1 1/2" h. x 3/4" w. (earrings), some damage, repairs, losses to earring mosaics, repaired gold around earrings and setting, possible loss of upper layer of a few tiles on brooch behind dove tail.
