Methuen, Massachusetts silk on linen needlework sampler, inscribed "Deborah Day her sampler made in the year 1777", with bands of alphabets, above verse and lower panel with a figure of a young woman and her red coated suitor in front of a house and blue sky overhead, 16 1/2" x 10". Listed in
