McLoughlin Bros. Zimmer's Base Ball Game, ca. 1893, very scarce game with chromolithographed images of eighteen early Major league players, to include Buck Ewing (catcher), Amos Rusie (pitcher), Dan Brouthers (first base), John Montgomery Ward (2nd base), John Glasscock (short stop), George Davis (third base), Sam Thompson (right field), Jimmy Mcaleer (center field), and Billy Hampton (left field), dugout portraits include Smith, DeleHaney, Tebeau, Davies, McPhee, Virtue, W. Zimmer, Nichols, and Young, the lithographed paper on wood playing field surrounded with fencing, some sections with children peering over tops, this rare game also includes the game lid indicating maker and several wood playing pieces, 21 1/4" x 21 1/4" x 1 1/4".

Condition

Box lid with some missing and detached aprons and corners. Board with area of paper damage around wood base near pitcher, missing wood base near home plate. Overall in very good condition considering the rarity of these games
