McFadden's Row of Flats Yellow Kid Puzzle, ca. 1896, McLoughlin Bros., great color graphics on box cover and puzzle itself, The Yellow Kid was created by R. F. Outcault and is considered the first American comic strip character and became a partial inspiration for the term "Yellow Journalism", during the circulation war between Hearst's N.Y. Journal and Pulitzer's New York World, both published Yellow Kid strips on the comic page, puzzle has been professionally framed under plexiglass, box - 12 1/2" x 12", frame - 32" x 26".
