Mathias and Sik, Gunzburg German double rifle, approximately 20 gauge, with relief carved walnut stock and German silver mounts, including a lion head, foliate wreath with bird, three busts of Greek Gods, a rams head behind barrel tang, with relief scroll carving centering cheek rest, behind wrist on opposing side, mother of pearl inlaid star to cheek rest, both locks with floral engraving which is repeated on the trigger guard and butt stock, numerous bead inlays to forestock, wrist and edge of trigger guard, 31 3/4" octagonal to round barrels. Overall good condition, repaired through and through break at trigger, with screws added to stock at break, 3" x 1/4" patch with nails below lock, numerous wood putty patches to forestock along barrel, some inlay loss on both sides of stock to wreath.
