Massachusetts two-gallon stoneware jug, mid 19th c., inscribed Edmands & Co., with a cobalt bird on a branch with a flower and a tulip, 15" h.
Old 1/2" chip to spout. A few other old small flakes. Two small hairlines at base. Light firing mark to bird's neck. Two square holes on side, probably from a make-do handle.
