Massachusetts printed, pen and ink Abner Pollard's family record, designed and executed by John Howe, Harvard, June 29th, 1815, 21" x 29". John Howe was a loyalist printer during the American Revolution, a printer and Postmaster in Halifax, Nova Scotia, a spy prior to the War of 1812, and eventually a Magistrate of the Colony of Nova Scotia. Abner Pollard was a Captain in the Harvard Light Infantry in 1810 after the close of the American Revolution. Provenance: Lancaster County, Pennsylvania collection.
