Rare Massachusetts Pilgrim Century joined oak chest, ca. 1665-1690, probably Newbury, with a lift lid above a case with three sunken panels framed by applied half columns above a single drawer, all resting on tall feet, the sides retaining an old swirl decorated surface. This chest is in a rare state of preservation with an impeccable provenance, 28" h., 42 1/2" w.
