Massachusetts Federal mahogany tall case clock, ca. 1790, with a Roxbury case and an eight-day works, the painted dial inscribed Aaron Willard Boston, 104 1/2" h.
Small patch to fret. Several small patches throughout. Missing top molding of door. Sporadic small losses to dial. Heavy craquelure to dial. Losses to sadle board. Veneer patches throughout. One side foot facing replaced. Left corner column capital reattached. Brass star on base (see photo). Back section broken off 2" x 5".
