Massachusetts Federal mahogany canopy bed, ca. 1815, the reeded post with central foliate carving.
Height w/ canopy - 7'5". Height w/o canopy - 6'4". Width - 4'7". Length - 6' 6 1/4". Inside frame - 5'11 3/4" x 4'. Repairs to one carved post. 12" crack to headboard. 4'10" age crack to one headboard post. Various age cracks to carved post. Overall good condition.
