Massachusetts Federal mahogany banjo timepiece, ca. 1815, the brass eagle finial over a painted face and eglomise neck with an eagle and American shield, above a lower panel with naval battle and carved giltwood drop, 40 1/4" h. No key. Tail is replaced, regilt. Finial is replaced. Finial plinth is replaced. Lower tablet - naval scene is repainted. Throat tablet - repainting. Two 1 1/2" patches to door frame.
