Massachusetts Federal inlaid mahogany tambour desk, ca. 1800, the upper section with tambour doors flanking a prospect door with inlaid cartouche resting on a two-drawer base supported by square tapering legs with bell flower inlay, 44 1/2" h., 36 1/4" w. A similar desk signed by Elijah Sanderson was sold at Sotheby's, Copeland Collection, 2002, lot 316.
