Massachusetts carved mahogany armchair, late quarter 18th c., having a shaped leaf carved crest rail above a pierced beaker form splat and dished outward flaring arms on molded uprights, the slip seat within a molded framework resting on square legs joined by an H stretcher.
Seat frame replaced. Repaired break to crest at stile. Glue blocks eplaced. Repaired breaks to both knees, possibly English.
