Massachusetts Arms Co. Maynard breech loading rifle, .35 caliber, with checkered walnut stock, the left side of receiver with four line mark, dated Illegibly, the right side of the receiver with three line mark, rear tang sight, globe front sight, and steel Swiss style butt plate, 28" octagonal to round barrel. SN #1040 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Good overall condition, retaining 60% blue, some freckling to barrel, faint case colors remaining on receiver, very good stocks, 3/8" gap between barrel and breech, frosty bore with some rifling.
