Maryland painted pine pie safe, 19th c., branded by Jh. Hy. Cook, Baltimore, with front and side punched tin eagle panels, retaining an old green surface over the original green, 58 3/4'' h., 37'' w. Provenance: Private Collection, St. Louis, Missouri.
Overall good with expected wear to panels. Latch replaced.
