Martin Luther Bible, 1565-69, printed in Frankfurt by George Raben and Sigmund Feyerabend, the first page with a portrait of Christoff, Duke of Wurttemberg, followed by a preface to the Old Testament, a register of the Bible, and 316 double-sided pages ending with the Song of Solomon, the title page dated 1569, followed by 216 double-sided pages, another title page starting the New Testament, dated 1565, followed by another 154 double-sided pages, and the final portion of the book containing a few different sections, including biblical names and timelines, bound in leather over wood boards, 15 1/2" x 10 1/2".

Wear to boards and spine, including some loss to leather, old Latin inscription to inside cover, loss to first page corner, edge wear and minor loss to several pages, mostly in the beginning of the book, some minor sporadic staining, binding tight.
