Canadian Long Branch SMLE model no. 4 Mk I bolt action rifle, .303 British caliber, dated 1945, with walnut stocks having sling swivels, brass butt plate, MK III folding rear sight, rack number stamped on stock, barrel import stamped CAI ST ALB VI 3C3B Can, 46 on band above serial number, matching numbers on gun, clip, and bolt, 25" barrel. SN #86L0511 C&R Provenance: Collection of Ed Hilliard, Collingswood, New Jersey.
Overall very good condition, refinished, small patch to stock at forend, bright bore with strong rifling.
