Lexington, Kentucky leather and iron fire bucket, ca. 1820, initialed WLA for the Water Line Association, 10" h.
Two rivets pulled through leather at rim. Iron band is original. The attribution to the Water Line Association is from the Smithsonian files that accompanied the bucket.
