Large Pennsylvania turned and painted lidded canister, 19th c., retaining its original sponge decorated surface, 7 1/2'' h., 7 1/2'' dia. Provenance: Conestoga Auctions, April 3, 2004, lot 101.
2 1/2" x 1/4" repaired break to rim of lid, 1' chip to inner rim of lid, 4" age crack to base, allover light expected wear.
