Large Native American Indian polychrome pottery olla, possibly Zia, 11" h., 13" dia. Provenance: Estate of Donald R. Leiby, Hamburg, Pennsylvania.

Chips to rim. Two minor hairlines at rim, approx. 1" long. Minor losses to paint. Dark streaky drip-like stain on one side (as shown in photo, possibly some sort of varnish). No major paint losses, but tiny losses from abrasion/wear consistent with age and use. Craquelure throughout. Very slight slope/minor lean from settling that occurred when clay was still wet, a slight asymmetry near base, but overall great shape. Fragments of an old paper sticker cling to the base.
