Lancaster, Pennsylvania pewter porringer, ca. 1765, bearing the touch of Johann Heyne, 4 1/4" dia. This is possibly the only porringer by Heyne known. Illustrated in Antiques Magazine, January 1980, p. 224 and Mobray, Pewter in American Life, pg. 78. Provenance: Musselman, April 29, 1978; Part II/III of the pewter collection of Drs. Donald & Patricia Herr.
