Lancaster County, Pennsylvania painted poplar bucket bench, mid 18th c., with a deep well with molded base, above a lower shelf supported by boldly scalloped sides, terminating in cutout feet, retaining its original red painted surface. 31" h., 48" l. Provenance: Ephrata Cloister; Ada Musselman; Titus Geesey.
