Lancaster County, Pennsylvania walnut blanket chest dated 1789, the case with sulfur inlaid potted tulip vines, birds, and pinwheels supported by ogee bracket feet, 23 1/2" h., 48" w. Provenance: Edgar & Charlotte Sittig.
Staining to lid. One hinge replaced. Lacking lock. Two drawer till. One front foot facing ended out 3/4".
