Lancaster County, Pennsylvania sackback windsor armchair, ca. 1780, with knuckle hand grips, baluster supports, and turned legs joined by baluster and ring turned medial stretcher with turnip feet, retaining an old red surface with gilt highlights.
One hand hold is a 19th c. replacement.
